Mission Statement

At Jaquie.org, my mission is to support individuals and families facing difficult life circumstances with clarity, compassion, and principled advocacy. I believe people deserve guidance that not only addresses practical challenges, but also recognizes the emotional weight and family dynamics that often exist beneath the surface.

Drawing from my background in Clinical Mental Health, lived experience, and Christian values, I help families approach complex situations with organization, thoughtful communication, emotional stability, and purpose. My goal is not simply to help people respond to challenges, but to help them move through them with greater confidence, understanding, and strength.

I believe advocacy is more than providing information or strategy. True advocacy involves listening well, helping families feel seen, strengthening their voice, and supporting responsible decisions that protect the well-being and dignity of those involved, especially vulnerable individuals and children.

Integrity guides every aspect of my work. When a need falls outside the scope of my services, I believe in connecting individuals with trusted professionals and resources that can provide the appropriate level of support.

My commitment is simple: to serve with truth, compassion, wisdom, and a genuine desire to help families feel less alone as they navigate difficult seasons of life.

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

Proverbs 31:8-9

Jaquie | Fam. & Guardianship Disability Advocate

Clinical Mental Health (M.S.) | Family & Disability Advocacy Specialist

I am a Christian, a mother, and an advocate for families navigating some of the most challenging seasons of their lives.

Jaquie.org was created from both professional training and lived experience. My work is rooted in understanding what happens when families face systems that feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to navigate alone. I know what it is like to sit through court hearings, review endless documents, advocate during emotionally exhausting moments, and carry the weight that many families silently carry every day.

For nearly two decades, I have personally navigated the realities of raising and advocating for my daughter with Down syndrome. That journey has given me an understanding that cannot be learned from textbooks alone. It has taught me persistence, strategy, compassion, and the importance of helping families find their voice during difficult circumstances.

My work combines:

• Lived experience developed through years of navigating disability, family, and advocacy challenges.

• Graduate training in Clinical Mental Health with an understanding of family systems, communication patterns, and high conflict dynamics.

• A strategic and detail oriented approach to documentation, organization, communication, and advocacy support.

• Faith centered integrity that guides how I serve families and approach every interaction.

I do not believe families should have to face difficult situations feeling isolated or unprepared. My goal is to help individuals and families organize information, strengthen communication, advocate effectively, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

If you are looking for someone who understands both the practical realities and the emotional weight of what you are facing, welcome.

You do not have to walk through it alone.
